Harvey Low will be doing a short seminar at the August IPMS Toronto & AMPS Fort York Toronto meetings (August 8 – the second Monday of the month). The seminar will be a new technique called Liquid Plastic Welding. LPW uses liquid plastic and UV light for curing. Harvey will demonstrate the use as another option in the fine soldering of photo-etch parts, and other uses in scale modelling.

Recently our club videographer, Robert Wlodarek, traveled to Poland and was lucky enough to attend a meeting of the IPMS Warsaw group.
“I was invited to the IPMS Warsaw meeting during the Warsaw FiestaModel contest. It was here where I met many new friends and learned many new things. My time spent there can be viewed in pictures and in the short film that I made. I wish the best to all the members, especially the president of IPMS Warsaw, Zbyszka.”

Our next AMPS / IPMS meeting will be held on May 2, 2016. As usual, the AMPS meeting will start at 6pm and the IPMS Toronto meeting at 7pm.
