It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of Bob Collignon of IPMS
Niagara Frontier. Bob passed away last Tuesday. He was only in his late sixties.
Bob was a long-time member of IPMS Niagara Frontier, both seen as a part of the
BUFFCon Show, a participant, and vendor. I personally met Bob way back in 1983 at
my very first BUFFCon show. He built “armour” and was considered a master modeller
in this community. He was also a professional commercial photographer based in
Buffalo, and owned an award-winning professional photograph studio. He will be missed
on both sides of the border.

Bob was a colleague at Buffalo State University. I only knew him since 2020. He was a kind and generous man who loved nothing more than to teach his students, frame the perfect composition, and make something beautiful out of a failed photographic process!
He will be missed. His excitement was contagious and his encouragement vital to those he came in contact with.
