September Meeting

Here’s your reminder that our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd from 7 to 9 PM.  Doors open around 6:45 PM, we recommend you arrive early to facilitate starting on time.  At the September meeting, Tom Ricci will be introducing staff of the Toronto Public Library who will demonstrate their 3D-printing solutions for the public and for hobbyists.  The presentation will be structured as follows:

1. Introduction to the Toronto Public Library Digital Innovation Hub

2. Understanding 3D Printing

3. Designing and Preparing Models for Printing

4. 3D Printing Services at Toronto Public Library

5. Technology Lending and Library Resources

6. Questions and Discussion

As always, the “On the Tables” show-and-tell will follow the presentation.  Please note that, due to the interactive format and setup/tear-down requirements, Show & Tell may be shortened.

  • For your 2026 membership, please visit https://ipmstoronto.com/membership/ . Without your membership fees we could not host these meetings, so please go to the site at your earliest convenience.  
  • We are always looking for members to present any relevant material like museum visits, personal projects, tools, techniques, tips, etc. Please write to IPMSToronto@gmail.com or malaudisa@gmail.com if you would like to present at an upcoming meeting.  Our monthly meetings take place the FIRST Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
