July 2018 Meeting
Reminder to IPMS Toronto and AMPS Fort York members that the July meetings will be held on the second Monday of the month due to the Canada day holiday.
We will be doing a giveaway contest for a couple of models that Robert Wlodarek brought back for us from Poland, as well as possibly a seminar on the use of the new Hataka line of paints. Stay tuned for more details on that.

April Meeting – Special Seminar
In his last presentation, IPMS Toronto member John Maher talked about applying armour techniques to aircraft. If you missed it, you can refresh your memory with another look at his seminar here.
In this upcoming session, John will talk about applying aircraft techniques to armour. He will present how he used aircraft building techniques to assemble the stowage on this Korean War Pershing. He’ll also review the painting and weathering techniques employed to create the finish on this model.

February 2018 Meeting: Special Seminar
Make sure you find time to come to the IPMS Toronto February meeting as we will be having a seminar conducted by members John Antoni and Scott Jones discussing their techniques for making scale trees for their dioramas.
“John Antoni will be conducting a seminar on how to construct 1/35 pine trees, that would be 40′ to 60′ high in real life. He will take people through the 6 steps required to accomplish a convincing end result. There will be 1 bonus step that shows a tree covered in snow!”
It’s a pretty straightforward process, basically using 3″ paintbrush bristles, wire and wooden dowels, and a few other commonly used items in the hobby.”
Look forward to seeing you all there.
