For the WWII history and aircraft enthusiasts, please enjoy this article written by IPMS Toronto Vice President Harvey Low as it appeared in our printed newsletter in April 1998.
Moving forward we will be reposting more of these old articles on our website to ensure that the valuable information contained within them will remain available to modelers around the world in the future.

A great example of the international reach of our hobby in general and IPMS Toronto in particular. Here’s a write up of the recent Heritagecon 9 show by Robert Wlodarek that was posted on the site of IPMS Warsaw.
IPMS Toronto member Chuck Rothman delivers a very informative instructional tutorial at a recent club meeting, discussing his process for making custom decals. Once again we see how lucky IPMS Toronto is to have members of exceptional skill and knowledge who love to share with each other.

Another fantastic show and contest put on by the group at IPMS Hamilton with more vendors and contest entries than ever before. The photos from the show are rolling in and we’ll be posting them here.

The next scheduled AMPS Fort York / IPMS Toronto meeting will be held on Monday, April 6th, 2015 with AMPS Fort York meeting from 6:00 to 7:00pm and IPMS Toronto meeting from 7:00 to 9:00pm. We will be collecting any outstanding membership dues at the meetings and all first time visitors are welcome to attend.
We will have a special speaker at the IPMS Toronto meeting. Warrant Officer Gary Smith will be speaking about his experiences in serving with the Canadian Army, including his recent service in Afghanistan.
Warrant Smith is an active and current serving member and we are honored that he will be attending and sharing with us his experiences, including photos, that he has taken during his service.
We hope to see you all there and should you have any Canadian themed armour, then consider bringing it out to share with the other club members.
Hope to see you all there!
