July 2018 Meeting
Reminder to IPMS Toronto and AMPS Fort York members that the July meetings will be held on the second Monday of the month due to the Canada day holiday.
We will be doing a giveaway contest for a couple of models that Robert Wlodarek brought back for us from Poland, as well as possibly a seminar on the use of the new Hataka line of paints. Stay tuned for more details on that.

Today we have a guest posting from IPMS Toronto member Robert Wlodarek who recently travelled to Poland and reported back to us from a club event and a local competition.
“In June I went to a modeling competition. Before the competition I met the friendly Polish IPMS Warsaw modeller’s club and was invited for a quick get together before the main Babaryba modeller’s competition. Photos and reports from this event can be viewed on IPMS Warszawa’s facebook: http://ipms-warszawa.pl/spotkanie-grupowe-5-06-2018/. I was very happy to meet fellow modellers and enjoyed my day. New AMPS Chapter in Ohio
We are happy to inform our members of a new AMPS chapter in Ohio! Lake Erie AMPS inaugural meeting will be July 15. They meet the third Sunday of each month 3pm at Haven Raceway and Hobby, 442 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Oh 44035.

Video: Aircraft Guy Does Armour
At the May 2018 IPMS Toronto meeting, member John Maher gave a fantastic presentation about how he used aircraft modelling techniques when he branched out to building armour models.
