On The Tables September 2023
September finds the IPMS Toronto club meeting at a new location, new day of the week, and a new time! One thing that didn’t change is the high quality of the work brought out by our members.
Important: New Meeting Location and Schedule!
IPMS Toronto meetings are on the move again! Per the details in the flyer below, we have secured a new meeting space and have rescheduled the meetings to the first Wednesday of each month, back in the traditional 7-9 timeslot. Info has also been updated on the Meetings page of IPMSToronto.com.
On The Tables August 2023
The August meeting saw a fabulous guest speaker (seminar to be posted soon) and the usual tables full of high quality work.
August Guest Speaker: Steve Mercer
Be sure to join us in person on at our Aug. 14 meeting to hear a presentation by Steve Mercer, former member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
“Steve joined the army in 1990 when he was 19 and left the service in 2010, remaining a Dragoon for the duration of his army career.
During his service, Steve was deployed to the Balkans for 8 months in the mid-nineties where he saw action first hand.
From a modelling perspective, he grew up in Markham and built his first model at age 6 – today his main subject interest is aircraft.
Today Steve works for Porter Airlines where he is a heavy equipment instructor, receiving his certification shortly after retiring from the armed forces..
Steve currently lives on a 50′ cabin cruiser in Pickering with his wife Sandra who is originally from QC.”

Our July meeting and flea market was one of our best-attended meetings since the return of in-person get togethers. Lots of fabulous work on the tables.
