IPMS USA Nationals Bus Trip
Gates Bisson is once again taking the initiative to organize a full-service bus trip to the IPMS National Contest in Columbus, Ohio. This is a preliminary announcement to gauge interest – more details will be coming shortly. Please contact Gates if you might be interested!
Visitor from IPMS Brazil
In December 2014, we entertained representative Francisco Antonio Scaramuzza (Chico) from IPMS Brazil. After exchanging international IPMS “gifts” and sharing some historical references between the two countries, we took him around the local hobby scene in Toronto, where Chico met with several IPMS Toronto members. Another visit is schedule in June 2015 and we look forward to maintaining regular contact with IPMS Brazil in the meantime.

Some international flavor in these photos from the IPMS Brazil 28th Annual National Convention, held on Nov. 29 and 30. It’s always great to see what fellow modelers from around the world are doing and these are some of the best!

“Here is the link with the article and the pictures of our latest convention held at São Paulo, inside the maintenance center of the Northrop F-5E, Casa C-295, Blackhawk, Mi-35M, UAV Hermes 450 and 900 and AS 350 Ecureuil of Brazilian Air Force.
We had 802 models of 186 plastic modelers. The public in the two days of the event (November 29 and 30) was about 2.000 people, with 400 medals divided into many categories. 15 special trophy was given to the best models of each category and the main theme was 70 years of the Landings in Normandy. We had 26 stores selling models, tools and accessories.”
