September Meeting
A reminder that the September meeting will be held on the 12th (second Monday of the month) instead of the usual first Monday due to the Labour Day holiday. We will have a treat at this meeting as IPMS Toronto member and master modeler John Maher will give a seminar on his aircraft weathering techniques. As usual, bring out your completed and in-progress builds!
If you can’t attend in person this month, we will be trying for the first time to broadcast key parts of the meeting and the complete seminar on Facebook Live! in real time. Please like our Facebook page and follow closely on Sept. 12 to catch the start of the live show.

IPMS Toronto member Robert Wlodarek made his annual journey to Poland this summer and visited the IV Warszawska Fiesta Modelarska show in Warsaw. We posted his photos here earlier, and now we have his video to accompany.
Video Seminar: Liquid Plastic Welding
At the August 2016 IPMS Toronto meeting, Vice-President Harvey Low conducted a great seminar on how to use the new generation of UV-curable adhesives. He goes over the use of the product and discusses a few of the applications that may be of interest to modelers. Video credit to Robert Wlodarek.

Video Promo: Montreal Bus Trip
Please take a few minutes to watch the new promotional video produced by Gates for the annual bus trip to the Montreal International Model Show. There are still some spots left on the bus but it’s filling up quickly!
August 2016 Meeting
Harvey Low will be doing a short seminar at the August IPMS Toronto & AMPS Fort York Toronto meetings (August 8 – the second Monday of the month). The seminar will be a new technique called Liquid Plastic Welding. LPW uses liquid plastic and UV light for curing. Harvey will demonstrate the use as another option in the fine soldering of photo-etch parts, and other uses in scale modelling.
Model Show Report: IV Warsaw Fiesta Modelarska
IPMS Toronto and AMPS Fort York member Robert Wlodarek recently traveled to Poland to attend the Warsaw Fiesta Modelarska show. Please enjoy his report and photos below.
IV Warsaw Fiesta Modelarska lasted two days. I had a very marvelous time and met many interesting people. All of the models were crafted with utmost care and skill. You can view these models in the both the gallery and video that I prepared. I would also like to invite anybody who is interested, to drop by the two modelling stores that I visit during my stay in Warsaw.
