Here’s your reminder that our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 5th from 7 to 9 PM.  Doors open around 6:45 PM, we recommend you arrive early to facilitate starting on time.  

At the August meeting, I’ll be sharing highlights from my recent visit to the Italian Air Force Historical Museum (MUSAM – Museo Storico Areonautica Militare) at Vigna di Valle on the shores of Lake Bracciano. Often regarded as one of Europe’s finest aviation museums, MUSAM houses an extraordinary collection spanning more than a century of Italian military aviation, from pioneering aircraft and rare First World War types to Cold War jets and modern combat aircraft. I’ll take you on a photographic tour of the museum, explore some of its unique exhibits and the stories behind them, and hopefully provide a few ideas for anyone planning to visit this remarkable collection.

As always, the “On the Tables” show-and-tell will follow the presentation.

• We are always looking for members to present any relevant material like museum visits, personal projects, tools, techniques, tips, etc. Please write to IPMSToronto@gmail.com or malaudisa@gmail.com if you would like to present at an upcoming meeting.  Our monthly meetings take place the FIRST Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
